Pets that suffer from long-term illnesses or who have difficulty getting around can benefit from home care. There’s no need to stress yourself or your pet in their last days. One of our team members can come to your home to help you make your pet as comfortable as possible. At Paradise Veterinary Hospital, we offer house calls as well as office visits, for hospice care and euthanasia.
We know how difficult it is to say goodbye to a friend and family member. It is a very personal and private decision, but you don’t have to make it alone. Our team at Paradise Veterinary Hospital is here to help you through this difficult time. We provide you and your pet with compassionate care to maintain their comfort and dignity during their last moments.
While we wish our animals could live forever, this is not realistic and euthanasia is a very peaceful process. We believe that it helps your beloved friend to have you there petting them and telling them you love them as they cross over the rainbow bridge. Many people choose to be with their pet in their last moments and we encourage this whenever possible, but understand some people can’t emotionally handle it and we respect that as well.
We work with the West Coast Pet Memorial crematorium. West Coast Pet Memorial cares for your pet’s remains. They offer the option of getting your pet’s remains returned home to you in an urn and getting a clay paw print, or having their ashes scattered at sea.
Please let us know how we can help you during this difficult time.
